On Thursday evening the team will have its first competition of the winter: the 3rd Annual Polar Bear Challenge.

Our first event will start at 4:45pm at the CCH track, move into the fieldhouse for throws, jumps and sprints at 5:15pm, then conclude with the 4×4 on the track under the lights around 6:15pm. Notre Dame Academy’s team will be participating as well, with Colonels and Pandas joining forces for the final co-ed relay.

Families are welcome to attend the meet, as well as the post-meet pizza party… please RSVP so we can plan enough food. Schedule is below:

3:45pm – mid-d meets
4:30pm – all other athletes arrive
4:45pm – 1600m (track) … ALL MID-DISTANCE ATHLETES
5:15pm – shot put (fieldhouse) … ALL THROWERS
5:35pm – 30yd dash + broad jump (fieldhouse) … ALL “SPRINGS”
6:15pm – 4 × 400m relay (track) … ALL NON-THROWERS
7:00pm – post-meet pizza
