It’s time to order uniforms for the upcoming track seasons! The SAME uniform will be used for both indoor and outdoor, so you only need to order one uniform kit.

Unlike other sports where the uniform SIZE is the only difference from athlete to athlete — even across different positions — track and field is unique in that different cuts or materials can work better (or worse) for different events. And while we could select one basic uniform and just tell everyone to make do, I prefer our guys go into competition feeling like they have exactly what they need to be at their best.

Unfortunately, our vendor (BSN Sports) does not make it easy to designate who needs what… so, please read the following carefully to make sure you get everything your athlete will need — and nothing you don’t! (I’ve also attached an image of the shop page with notes.)

UNIFORM CHECKLIST
[ ] blue uniform top (1)
[ ] black meet-day tech top (1)
[ ] black uniform bottoms (1)

BLUE UNIFORM TOP
- Primetime Champ fitted distance top < < < good for pretty much any event!
- Primetime Champ Compression Speed Tank < < < sprinters + jumpers may prefer this
- QT Training Mens Core Short Sleeve Tee < < < fancier short-sleeve thrower option
- Mens Team Tech Long Sleeve T-Shirt < < < basic long-sleeve thrower option

(Unfortunately, Under Armour does not offer XS or youth sizes for these uniform tops.)

BLACK MEET-DAY TECH TOP
Everyone must have a black UA Mens Team Tech Shirt to warm-up in at meets… can be either the short-sleeve or the long-sleeve.

Or, you can get both. (Variable weather and back-to-back meet days are pretty common for T&F.) And, I’ve also included two optional items you could add-on to have for cooler weather. Just make sure you still order one of the Team Tech tees so your guy isn’t roasting in a hoodie when it’s 82 degrees out at a meet in May!

BLACK UNIFORM BOTTOMS
- BSN Agility Non-Pocket Short < < < throwers shorts (or warm-up shorts for anyone)
- NB Athletics Half Tight < < < good for any, but less common for throws + mile and up
- black split-short** < < < good for any running, jumping or hurdling

Lastly, I am planning to have a team store through the spirit shop at a later date for spiritwear and other track and field gear. For now, though, we need to get these core uniform items in the works, to have them for the indoor season… and to that end, this shop is scheduled to end this week, so get your orders in ASAP!
